In order to expand INGH's capabilities beyond what any single institution can offer, the Institute will act as a hub for partnering with a range of institutions including engineering schools, business schools, design schools, commercial enterprises, NGOs, nonprofits, and government agencies.

New York City Economic Development Corporation

In December 2013, the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai received $5 million in funding from the New York City Economic Development Corporation to establish INGH formerly known as the Mount Sinai Institute of Technology. Learn more

Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute

On May 22, 2013, the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai and Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) signed an academic affiliation agreement to collaborate on research and educational programs designed to promote human health., The INGH will be the primary locus at Mount Sinai of this key academic partnership. The INGH and RPI will pursue technology-driven research that will lead to more cost-effective care and improvements in human health.
